About the Artist
Pam McNeill Fine Art
I grew up in Winston-Salem and Chapel Hill, North Carolina and then spent my professional career as an educator in Maryland. Upon retirement, my husband and I chose to move back to North Carolina - this time to the coastal region. Surrounded by friends and neighbors who were part of the art community, I renewed my interest in drawing and painting that I had always enjoyed as a child, with my two children, and with my students. Receiving the daily paintings of British artist Julian Merrow-Smith as he blogged from his studio in Provence, I saw the style and brushstrokes that inspired me to take lessons and begin my own path in oil painting. I find delight in painting landscapes from the mountains to the shore, as well as nature, floral, and figurative works.
My husband and I currently reside in Wilmington, North Carolina and I can be reached at [email protected].
